Marvin Kniebaum, LL.M.
Marvin Kniebaum, LL.M. (Dublin), joined the Düsseldorf office of FRANSSEN NUSSER as an attorney in August 2024. His practice focuses on environmental law, in particular waste law, soil protection law, immission control law and water law. In these areas, his legal work includes advising private and municipal companies as well as public authorities.
Career and areas of expertise
Marvin Kniebaum studied law at the University of Münster. After passing his first state examination, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialisation in international and European business law at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
Marvin Kniebaum then worked as a research assistant for a leading German law firm in the field of antitrust law. He completed his legal training at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf, including stints at the Federal Cartel Office, an internationally active commercial law boutique and the Administrative Court of Düsseldorf. Marvin Kniebaum has been a lawyer at FRANSSEN NUSSER since August 2024.
Marvin Kniebaum primarily advises and supports medium-sized and municipal companies as well as public authorities on all issues relating to waste, soil and emissions control law and water law. This includes, in particular, projects in the field of recycling management, requirements for waste management activities and advice on all legal issues relating to the establishment and operation of production facilities and business locations.

7. Änderung des LPlG NRW – Gesetzentwurf der Landesregierung veröffentlicht
Die Landesregierung NRW plant eine Überarbeitung des Landesplanungsgesetzes (LPlG NRW), um Verfahren der Raumordnung schlanker, schneller und verlässlicher zu gestalten. Hierzu hat sie am 18.11.2025 einen Gesetzentwurf für die 7. Änderung des LPlG NRW veröffentlicht.
