Dr. Felix Holländer

Career and areas of expertise

Dr. Felix Holländer studied law at the University of Münster, spending a semester abroad at the University of Oslo in Norway. After passing his first state examination in 2017, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. During this time, he wrote his dissertation on an interdisciplinary topic with a focus on constitutional and procedural law. Dr. Holländer then completed his legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg until 2022. He then worked as a lawyer at an international commercial law firm in Hamburg (public commercial law/public procurement law). He joined FRANSSEN NUSSER in October 2023.

Dr. Holländer focuses on advising on the European Green Deal. In this area, his legal work includes advising on a wide range of legal acts, with a focus on product-related legal acts. His advisory services cover topics such as (material) compliance, the Battery Regulation and the REACH Regulation. Dr. Holländer's other areas of expertise include general product law (product safety law with issues of market access and product liability law), environmental law (including contaminated sites) and the circular economy. In addition, Dr. Holländer can draw on his expertise in constitutional and administrative law (including administrative procedural law).

Dr. Holländer primarily advises companies and trade associations. His advice includes communication with authorities and handling opposition and court proceedings.
