Dr. Felix Holländer

Career and areas of expertise

Dr. Felix Holländer studied law at the University of Münster, spending a semester abroad at the University of Oslo (Norway). After passing his First State Examination in 2017, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. During this time, he completed his doctoral thesis on a topic focusing on constitutional and procedural law. Dr. Holländer completed his legal training (Referendariat) at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg in 2022. He then worked as a lawyer at an international commercial law firm in Hamburg (public commercial law/public procurement law). He joined FRANSSEN NUSSER in October 2023.

Dr. Holländer’s practice focuses on EU product law. His advisory work includes, in particular, product safety, compliance, circular economy, and extended producer responsibility (EPR). Further areas of expertise include product liability law and environmental law (including contaminated sites, PFAS, and unexploded ordnance). He also draws on his expertise in constitutional and administrative law.

Dr. Holländer primarily advises companies and business associations. His work includes communication with authorities as well as representation in administrative objection proceedings and court proceedings. He supports clients in strategic matters and risk assessments, with the aim of combining legal expertise with a strong understanding of economic considerations.
